Nu contează dacă lucrezi cu full time, cu normă parțială sau temporar. Angajatorul trebuie să îți plătească salariul orar corect pentru vârsta ta. Este o obligație legală.

Ca să le fie de ajutor celor care vor să vină să muncească în UK și să nu cadă victime promisiunilor și escrocheriilor cu locuri de muncă sau abuzurilor, guvernul britanic a lansat un site oficial cu locuri de muncăcare permite persoanelor din orice țară să caute joburi și să aplice direct pentru ele.
Platforma jobs.service.gov.uk oferă un mod simplu și oficial prin care persoanele din străinătate pot găsi locuri de muncă și pot afla informațiile de care au nevoie pentru a lucra în UK.
Poți căuta locuri de muncă introducând meseria sau domeniul care te interesează. Site-ul afișează posturile disponibile care se potrivesc cu ceea ce cauți, iar dacă găsești unul potrivit, poți trimite cererea de angajare direct prin platformă.
Pe lângă anunțurile de angajare, site-ul te ajută și să afli dacă ai nevoie de viză pentru a putea lucra legal în UK. Astfel, poți verifica cerințele privind dreptul de muncă înainte de a lua decizia de a te muta în Marea Britanie.
Platforma jobs.service.gov.uk face parte din noul serviciu guvernamental Jobs and Careers și este încă în fază de testare. Primele teste (“test and learn”) au început în aprilie 2025, în Wakefield, iar în septembrie 2025 guvernul a început să testeze noul serviciu digital cu utilizatori reali. Site-ul este disponibil public, însă momentan este în versiune experimentală, urmând ca serviciul complet să fie lansat în octombrie 2026.
Ca să nu mai stați să întrebați pe grupuri câtă finanțare pentru studii puteți primi, guvernul a pus la dispoziție un calculatorgratuit, pentru a estima cât ai putea primi în fiecare an pentru pentru taxa de studiu, maintenance loan (cheltuielile de trai) și alte forme de sprijin dacă ai venituri mici, ai o dizabilitate, ai copii sau studiezi un anumit tip de curs.
Acest calculator este pentru studenții care locuiesc în Anglia și care încep:
un nou curs universitar pentru care se acordă finanțare prin Student Finance, în anul academic 2025–2026 sau 2026–2027;
un curs sau un modul de nivel 4 până la nivelul 6 (și unele cursuri de nivel 7), care începe la 1 ianuarie 2027 sau după această dată.
Înainte de a începe, să ai pregătite informații despre:
–venitul anual al familiei tale, funcție de situația ta( veniturile părinților sau ale partenerului cu care locuiești). Dacă ai sub 25 de ani și depinzi financiar de părinți, se ia în calcul și venitul lor; dacă ai peste 25 de ani, venitul părinților nu mai contează, dar poate conta venitul partenerului cu care locuiești. Dacă ai sub 25 de ani, dar te întreții singur de cel puțin 3 ani, ești căsătorit(ă), ai fost în îngrijirea autorității locale sau nu mai ai legătură cu părinții de peste un an, venitul părinților poate să nu fie luat în calcul. Pentru cursurile care încep înainte de 1 ianuarie 2027, venitul folosit pentru anul academic 2026–2027 este cel din anul fiscal 2024–2025; pentru cursurile care încep între 1 ianuarie și 31 iulie 2027, se folosește tot venitul din 2024–2025
-trebuie să știi dacă acel curs este cu frecvență completă (full-time) sau cu frecvență redusă (part-time) și câte credite valorează. Dacă studiezi part-time, trebuie să știi atât câte credite valorează cursul dacă ar fi studiat full-time, cât și câte credite vei studia efectiv. Un an de studiu full-time pentru o diplomă de licență (undergraduate degree) valorează, de obicei, 120 de credite.
Nu poți folosi acest calculator dacă studiezi un modul care valorează mai puțin de 30 de credite.

Grupurile de facebook, tiktokul sunt pline de ajutători și făcători de acte, zilnic se fac conturi noi de “gigica acte în UK”/ “acte pentru români”, pe lângă veșnicii contabili care nu au nicio treabă cu imigrația, și pe orice postare stau la pândă țepari care recomandă “specialiști” în imigrație. De cele mai multe ori, nu numai că acești „adviseri” dau informații greșite, după ureche sau cu chat gpt, și cer bani mulți, fac aplicații incorecte sau chiar dispar după ce primesc banii. Iar majoritatea celor care caută ajutor nu știu că adviserii de imigrație trebuie să fie reglementați. Această lipsă de informare îi expune pe oameni la escrocherii, consiliere de slabă calitate, pierderi financiare și consecințe grave asupra situației lor de imigrație.
Pentru asta, Immigration Advice Authority a lansat prima sa campanie națională de informare prin care îi avertizează pe oameni să fie atenți la persoanele care oferă ajutor pentru imigrație, frauduloși și nereglementați.

*IAA stabilește și aplică standarde profesionale pentru adviserii de imigrație și ia măsuri împotriva celor care operează ilegal sau oferă consiliere sub standardele cerute.

Cei care au nevoie de sfaturi și consiliere pentru imigrație ar trebui să folosească aceste 2 servicii ca să nu-și ia țeapă de la persoane care pretind că sunt acreditate, care prestează ilegal servicii de imigrație sau de la simpli țepari de acte care se oferă să vă “rezolve” ei.
Toți consilierii în domeniul imigrației trebuie să fie înregistrați la IAA sau să fie membri ai unui organism profesional aprobat. Dacă numele lor sau organizațiile/firmele cu care pretind ca se ocupă de “acte” nu sunt de găsit in listă, înseamnă că nu există. Și nu uitați că niciun consultant acreditat pe imigrație la IAA nu se ocupă să facă acte. Dovezi nici atât.

Instrumentul “Check if you need a UK visa” este serviciul oficial al guvernului britanic care te ajută să afli rapid dacă ai nevoie de viză sau de o autorizație electronică de călătorie (ETA) pentru a intra în UK. După ce răspunzi la câteva întrebări despre cetățenie, scopul călătoriei și durata șederii, sistemul îți spune ce tip de permisiune ai nevoie și te direcționează către pașii următori.
Acest instrument a fost introdus de Home Office în cadrul modernizării serviciilor de imigrație și este unul dintre cele mai accesate servicii privind vizele de pe GOV.UK.
